Dalmia Bharat Group Foundation (DBGF) partnered with Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Karnataka Lingayat Educational Society Charitable Trust hospital to organise a multi-specialty health camp as part of their golden jubilee celebrations on 15th September, 2013 at Munavalli School of Gokak Taluk in Belgaum district, Karnataka. DBGF provided transportation facilities to more than 330 villagers from nine villages - Yadwad, Girisagar, Kunnal, Kopadatti, Kamankatti, Guljanjikoppa, Manomi, Timmapur and Kurubatti. Mr.Vishal Bhardwaj, Assistant Executive Director, CSR, Dalmia Bharat Group said, “At Dalmia Bharat Group, we are deeply committed to fulfilling the socio-economic needs of society with a special focus on issues such as health and livelihood,with the objective of working together for the benefit of neighbouring communities and to ensure maximum participation by the villagers. Of the total beneficiaries, nearly 10% -15% were positive for minor ailments. They will be treated free of cost at Karnataka Lingayat Educational Society Charitable Trust Hospital.
