Puneet Yadu Dalmia is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Dalmia Dalmia Bharat Group. He has been the driving force behind the company’s exponential growth since he took over the reins in 2004 and continues to spearhead Dalmia Bharat’s transformation journey through his vision of nation-building.
Driven by the core philosophy of ‘responsible growth and sustainable development,’ He has led Dalmia Bharat on a path of accelerated growth. Prior to leading Dalmia Bharat, He co-founded JobsAhead.com in 1999, one of the most successful dotcom businesses.
Mr. Dalmia continues to be recognised for his proven leadership and entrepreneurial capabilities. He received Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2017 in the manufacturing category. He is also the Chairman of the Development Council for Cement Industry (DCCI) set up by the Government of India in June 2021. In 2023, Business Today magazine awarded him as the Best CEO in the Cement Category 2024.
Mr. Dalmia firmly believes that good business must be a force for good in society. He serves as a Founder and Trustee of Ashoka University and is also a board member of the Central Square Foundation (CSF).
He is a gold-medallist MBA from IIM-Bangalore and holds a B. Tech degree from IIT-Delhi.
He continues his connection with India’s future talent and premier education as Chairperson of the Indian Institute of Management, Raipur.
